~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
Every Thursday, here at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
{happy}
Some of you kindly thought of pictures of me with baby Eamon, so here you go! We really don't have much else to report this week. Cuddling, changing, running after Finnabee, and the usual round of normal activity.
Today is Deirdre's birthday, which caught me a bit unawares despite all that modern and old-fashioned technology can do for my poor brain, so I will leave you with these pictures! Next week I hope to recap some various things in the crafting department, and maybe catch up with Nora pictures as well.
Besides baby excitement, there was also a little fun on Instagram that started when I had posted last week about various things including what's on my bedside table. Only, it turns out that this is a thing! So if you joined me or others with the hashtag WhatsOnYourNightstand or WhatsOnMyNightstand, feel free to link your photo here in {phfr}. It's easy to do — just follow the directions.
If you like, you can tag me in your photo (on IG) — (@leilamarielawler) — and add the hashtag PrettyHappyFunnyReal (you can add those to your comment feed). It's just fun to be able to find each other! And it is really fun to see what everyone is reading!

You both look so utterly beautiful in these photos. And, Happy Birthday to Deirdre. Today, my dear mother turns 70 — it’s an auspicious day!

Sigh! Is there anything more beautiful than a baby “fresh from the hand of God”. Wonderful photos!
What do your grandchildren call you, Leila? Are you Habou, too?
DeirdreLMLD says
She’s “Habipti” to this new generation. Another form of the same term from which “Habou” is derived. 🙂

These pictures are fantastic!

So, now that Deirdre has her boy and girl, is she done? Just kidding!! Since she didn’t have a hospital birth, I thought she might miss this ubiquitous question asked at some point by one of the nurses.
That is one beautiful baby. He complements Grandma wonderfully!
Sue says

Haha thank you!
Mrs. B. says
You know, I only now realized how well he’s already holding his head up! Quite a feat!
Lisa says
Both of you are so lovely. All that snuggling makes me itchy for
another grandbaby.

I’m always caught on camera with my lips stuck way out at the baby, looking like I’m clucking. The first thing I thought of when I saw these was “wow these are beautiful pictures” immediately followed by “she doesn’t stick her lips out like a lunatic, she is wise in all things!”
Woman of the House says
Awwwwwww, what a sweetie! Congratulations and blessings! I’m glad the delivery went well if not exactly as planned. lol
