~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
Every Thursday, here at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
{pretty, happy}
A fun trip apple picking with friends.
Figuring out how to kick your mobile.
{funny} and {real}
Freddie is a HUGE fan of his bouncy seat, and it has earned me many a shower in peace. Lately, though, he has decided that he likes to sit like this.
It would be fine, but he just keeps sliding…
And eventually ends up like this (don't worry, I rescued him right after a took the picture! But I did take the picture…):
There is a buckle, but he thinks it's a torture device. So much for that peace!
A quick note about pockets: if you have started a group, please see my mom's post from Saturday , and email me with an email address we can post — your own or a gmail one as per the instructions!

Ooh! Where did you find that mobile?

I found mine on craigslist, but it’s from ikea: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70108177/

I have been known to wheel the high chair to the bathroom, just so I could shower… We never had a bouncer until the current baby, who of course couldn’t care less for it!
Freddy’s eyes are wonderful! Those are funny pictures: he’ll have a laugh when he’s older (this is one of my favorite things: show the kids their baby pictures!)

Ohhhhh, he is so precious! I bet he wants out because he wants to roll over and crawl.

What a cutie! He’ll be wanting to crawl soon.
Say just fyi, I was just over at Ginny’s@ small things – she has a giveaway of The Little Oratory going on in case someone here doesn’t have one yet. http://www.gsheller.com/2014/10/our-little-oratory.html/comment-page-1#comment-174294

Your little guy is adorable, just adorable!

He is going to be tall, and oh so adorable! Buckles seem to be torture devices for my youngest as well, we managed to keep him safe but sometimes it was a real struggle.

Hello! If you happen to have a sling, you might try wrapping it about him and the seat to create your own, more comfortable and more familiar “strap”. I’ve also been able to use mine to turn a kitchen or restaurant chair into a baby seat. Good luck!
