My garden, my garden. Kind of neglected.
Don't be fooled, these peppers are quite small.
Don't be fooled by anything here — it's all just like at your house, only with smaller peppers and a very messy garden! But I am happy to have peppers at all. One or two even turned red! That's never happened in my garden before! The summer has been so wonderful, and things continue to be mild, so we will enjoy as much as we can.
I feel like everything started very late and is ending very late. I don't remember the raspberries being out there towards the end of September, but maybe that's just my memory going…
Somehow this season has found me traveling a lot, just as if that's the kind of person I am, when in reality I'm the kind of person who reads too much and lets her garden get wild. Right now I'm in Colorado, to talk about the things we talk about here on the blog, and also to mention the book, The Little Oratory.
This makes me happy, even though it's hard to be away from home so much. It is gladdening my heart to meet so many enthusiastic folks who are willing to devote themselves to their homes and their families, and just want to talk about it and know more about it. I always tell them — you truly seem to know more about it than I do!
Speaking of that, as we say around here, I wanted to mention a couple of things about the St. Greg's Pockets. First, we now have some FAQs up for you on the menu tab — did you see them?
Second, we'd like to make it so that if you just can't get on Facebook, you can still connect with the group. That will entail putting an email address with the link on the page.
If you have set up a group and can share your email, please do. If you'd like, you can set up an email account just for this purpose: YOURSTGREGS@gmail.com. So if you are in Boston, it could be bostonstgreg@gmail.com. See?
Either way, email LMLDblog (at) gmail (dot) com with the email address that people can reach you at, and we will add it to the list.
Also, check the link on the page to make sure it works! Let us know if it's not right. That will help.
Just so you know, there are not a bunch of little gnomes running around keeping this all working! There's Sukie, helped massively by Freddie. And there's me, trying to keep my notes in order as I come visit you in Colorado or wherever you may be.
In other housekeeping news, do post your pictures of your Little Oratory! We love to see them, and it helps others as well.

I feel like I’m neglecting the pocket, but hope to get better about it as I finish up this quarter with our school work. My garden was neglected to the point of really not garden at all this year. Next year is what I’m looking towards – so small peppers is better than no peppers at all. Prayers for you to have continued safe travels.
